This chapter presents aircraft ice and rain protection systems with the following outline. • Detection of ice accretion • Engine and wing ice protection • Horns anti icing • Propeller anti icing • Windows heating • Probes heating • Rain removal • Aircraft performance monitoring • Normal operation Courses are constantly monitored and updated when major change in authority documentation is released.
