Aircraft Ditching Online Course starts with the section of Planned / Unplanned Ditching and followed by Preselected Person (PSB) Briefing for Ditching, Unplanned Ditching Commands, Initiating Evacuation, Evacuation Commands Given at the Exits topics. The course then focuses on Emergency Equipments which are Life Vests, Emergency Locator Transmitter (ELT), Life Line, Evacuation Slides, Slide/Rafts etc. Sea Survival Techniques, The Factors that Effect Survival in Water, General Principles of Sea Survival, Hypotherma, Dehydration and Injuries sections are also addressed in the course.
