021-03 HYDRAULICS

Course Information

The Hydraulic system is an effective source of power in the aircraft, which enables the pilot to accomplish mechanical tasks, such as operating flying controls that would otherwise be impractical or impossible because of the forces required. This section describes how hydraulic power is obtained, transmitted, used and the different types of hydraulic systems and components that make the system function. Let’s first review basic hydraulic principles, before looking at how hydraulic power is generated, transmitted and used. Courses are constantly monitored and updated when major changes in authority documentation is released.
