Dangerous Goods Category-10 Online Course starts with an overview of General Philosophy (classification, prohibitions, packaging, marking & labeling, documentation, notification to captain, information to passenger and crew, training, accident & incident reporting), Definition, Legal Basis, Shipper’s Responsibilities, Security of Dangerous Goods etc. The course covers Limitations, Classification & Marking and Labeling sections detailing from Class 1 to 9. Handling & orientation labels, cryogenic liquid, keeping away from heat, cargo aircraft only and magnetized material topics are also discussed. The course then focuses on Identification, Storage and Loading subjects giving detailed information about package protection, inspection, securing packages, separation of packages, loading restrictions, loading of incompatible dangerous goods, loading and stowage of toxic, infectious substances and radioactive material, spillable & non-spillable batteries etc. Finally, Provisions of Information and Emergency Procedures are dealt in details.
