Course Information

De/Anti Icing Online Course covers the procedures for aircraft operations in icing conditions Focusing on contaminates on the fuselage and effects of cold soaked wings. The course covers the inspection process, the types of fluids used and their application. This course further covers communication between ground crew and the flight deck to ensure proper de/anti-icing is carried out. The course continues by expressing variations in hold-over times that can be expected and continues with taxi procedures to consider and carry-out to avoid reduction of the hold over time by recontamination.
