This course describes principles for ground direction finding to include the types of direction finders and VHF Direction Finding (VDF). The program also includes the presentation and interpretation of Q-codes, the services provided by VDF, bearing, homing, let down and emergency services. In addition cover and the range of VDF are covered and the errors and accuracy of transmissions.
