Course Information

This course covers the “Safety Assessment of Foreign Aircraft” which is abridged to SAFA. SAFA was established in 1996 by the European Civil Aviation Conference (ECAC). Programs like ”SAFA” are found around the world under different names, for example ”Ramp Check”, the FAA”s IASA etc. and consists of the following: • Ramp safety checks of international aircraft-SAFA • Ramp safety checks of domestic aircraft-SANA • Ramp safety checks of your own community aircraft-SACA • The inspection process, findings and deviations • Correction of deviations • The items covered on the SAFA Checklist that apply to cabin crew
