Course Information

A review of the hazards of wake turbulence to daily flight operations, this course meets and exceeds the requirements for an initial or recurrent program for pilots. This course includes the following information: The operational procedures recommended and required for aircrews. An expanded discussion of vortex generation of arriving or departing aircraft, to include the size and configuration of the aircraft. A review of the threat of induced roll to aircraft following an arriving or departing aircraft. The threat of jet engine exhaust to other aircraft; and the responsibilities for pilots that are required by ICAO rules.
